Your First UGC Ad, Start to Finish
How do I make a UGC ad for my own product?
In Reel Studio give 1 to 3 product photos, choose a presenter (your own selfie or one of our six) and write one line about the product. The AI writes the script, free and yours to edit; the picture with the product in hand is made, and the video starts only once you approve it. The voice is the AI or your own through the microphone. A 15 second ad starts at 85,000 Token.
The ad we are going to make
Say you have a small shoe shop called Sohel Shoes. A white sneaker came in this week, priced at 1,250 taka. You put the photo on Facebook, a few likes come, but no orders.

The reason is simple. From a still photo nobody can tell:
- What the shoe feels like in the hand.
- Who is selling it.
- Whether that person is worth trusting.
A UGC ad works in exactly that gap. On screen a person holds your actual sneaker and says in Bangla why it is good.
- That person can be you, or one of the six presenters we drew ourselves.
- The video runs 15 seconds.
- To make the whole thing you need a phone, ten minutes and 85,000 Token.
Start at the banglacodes.com/reels page. There are two cards at the top; the one on the left says "UGC ad". Press that one.
How to photograph the product
The whole quality of the ad rests on this photo. The AI does not redraw the shoe, it places the photo you gave into the presenter's hand. A blurry photo means a blurry shoe in the video.
- Keep the background one colour. A white wall or a sheet of white paper is enough; move the shop shelves and the other shoes out of the way.
- Shoot in daylight. Next to a window, but not in direct sun. Under a tube light a white shoe turns yellow.
- Keep the whole shoe inside the frame. If the toe or the heel is cut off the AI invents the rest.
- Shoot from two or three angles: one from the side, one from the front, one from slightly above.
- Make sure any writing can be read. If the brand name or the size tag is clear in the photo, it stays clear in the video.
You do not need more than three photos, and no more than three are taken. Put them in the box marked "Product photos (1 to 3)".
Choosing the presenter and the consent tick
Right below it says "Presenter: your selfie, or one of these". There are two routes.
Route one, your own selfie. This works best, because buyers recognise the shopkeeper and a familiar face is a trusted face.
- Give a straight selfie with the face in the middle of the frame, in good light, with no glare on your glasses.
- Tick the box that appears underneath: "The person in the photo is me, or I have their written permission".
- Without that tick the make-video button will not work, so there is no way around it.
Route two, our six presenters. Six faces are shown in a row and one press picks one.
- We drew them ourselves, they are not real people, so the question of permission never arises.
- If you feel shy about showing your own face, take this route.
- You can add a shop photo too if you like, and then your own shop sits in the background. That one is optional.
One line about the product
The box at the very top is called "Product or topic (one line)". No essay is needed here. Write only what a buyer would want to know about the shoe:
White sneaker, very light, comfortable all day, sizes 38 to 44
The three small boxes beside it take:
- The business name, such as Sohel Shoes.
- The offer or price, such as 1,250 taka.
- A phone number. The last two are optional.
If you fill the price box the price goes into the script and gets spoken in the video. So leave it empty if the price might change, otherwise the day you raise the price the whole video is dead.

Below it, eight chips under "Kind of ad": Telling a friend, Problem and solution, 3 reasons, Unboxing, Before and after, Answering the objection, Festival offer, A short story. Each is a beat sheet the AI lays the scenes on: pick "Problem, solution" and it opens with the buyer's problem, shows the product fixing it, closes with one line of proof; pick "3 reasons" and you get the product from three angles in three scenes. Tap a chip and one line below says what kind of product it does well for.
- The first time, keep "Telling a friend" or "Problem, solution"; those two run the most.
- Pick 15 seconds.
- Keep the tier on "Saver", then press "Write the script".
From the second visit on, the business name, price, phone, presenter and voice are filled in as you left them; the studio remembers.
The script arrives, now polish it
In a few seconds the second box opens. "Hook" at the top, and under it, scene by scene, "What is said", "On-screen text" and "Scene (in English)". You can type over every one of these boxes yourself, and this whole step is free.
A script that actually works looks something like this:
Hook: On your feet all day, aching by evening? What is said: This white sneaker is so light you forget you are wearing it. What is said: In stock now at Sohel Shoes, sizes 38 to 44. What is said: Send us a message, we will deliver today.

Check four things:
- Can the first line stop a thumb in three seconds? "We have good shoes at our shop" stops nobody, "Do your feet ache by evening?" does.
- Keep every spoken line short, short enough to say in one breath. On a long line the presenter rushes.
- Decide whether you really want the price inside the video. If not, delete the price line and write "Message us for the price" instead.
- Put one action in the last line: message us, call us, come to the shop.
- Press "Write again" as often as you like, not a single Token is charged.
- Leave the "Scene (in English)" box in English. That text is for the video model, and it cannot read Bangla.
The first three seconds: pick the hook
At the very top of the script sits a box that says "The first 3 seconds: pick one", with three to five lines under it, each tagged: Question, Pattern break, Unboxing, Before and after, Price, Proof. On Facebook a reel lives or dies in those three seconds, so instead of one hook the AI writes several kinds and you choose.
- "Question" is the question the buyer asks themselves, like "On your feet all day, sore by evening?"
- "Price" only appears when you filled in the price box; "Proof" only when you gave a number (like 40 people took it last week). The AI never invents a number.
- Tap one and scene 1's "What is said" and "On-screen text" change to it; the other scenes stay as they were.
Nobody knows in advance which one will work, and neither do we. That is why, once the video is done, the same ad can be made again with another hook for much less; that is below.
The voice: yours, or the AI's
Two buttons sit in the same row as the tier, "AI voice" and "My own voice".
- If you take the AI voice, pick one from the list beside it and there is nothing else to do.
- If you take your own voice, a recorder appears under the script, and the presenter's lips will move with your voice.
The steps for recording in your own voice:
- Press "Start recording" and say the script lines in your own words, 3 to 30 seconds.
- Hold the phone a hand span from your mouth and switch the fan off.
- Listen back once. If you do not like it, "Record again".
- If no microphone is found the browser will ask for permission, give it.

Your own voice is often the better choice for two reasons:
- Your own voice and your own regional accent sound far more real.
- The AI voice is not charged, but the presenter speaks for as long as your recording and is priced by the second. A short recording is cheaper; a long one costs more, not less.
You check the placement picture yourself
Pressing "Make the video" does not start the video straight away. First a still picture is made, with the presenter holding your sneaker. It takes about half a minute.
| What to look for in the picture | If it is wrong |
| Is the shoe really your shoe | Make it again, or start over with a clearer photo |
| Is the brand writing and logo right | Make it again, give a photo where the tag reads |
| Are both hands natural, count the fingers | Make it again |
| Is the shoe the colour it really is | Make it again, give a photo shot in daylight |
| Is it the presenter face you picked | Make it again |
When it all matches, press "Looks right, use this".
The video does not move on until you have looked at that picture, and this is the most valuable step in the whole thing: pressing "Make it again" here keeps only the price of this one picture and returns every other Token at once. After the video is made, that is no longer true.
The wait, and what to do with the finished file
Under the video there are three things, all of them useful.
The post text. While writing the script the AI also wrote two or three lines for the Facebook post, one line to send a buyer on WhatsApp, and five hashtags. "Copy post text" copies it all at once; paste it into the post.
Same ad, another hook. The remaining hooks are listed here with the price next to them. The picture and the music stay; only the words and the presenter clip are made again, so it costs far less Token than a whole ad. On Facebook the same ad tires after a week or two; that is when you post the one with the new hook. (An ad spoken in your own recorded voice cannot do this, because the recording says one thing.)
"Did this reel bring messages or orders?" Two or three days later, press Yes or No. The kinds of hook that worked with your buyers go first in the next script. That is your own ad data, nobody else's.
Now the real video starts being made. A progress bar moves across the screen and the line under it changes: "Putting the product in hand", "Adding the voice", "The presenter is speaking, 2 to 4 minutes", "Putting it together".
- The whole thing takes 2 to 4 minutes.
- If you close the tab the work carries on, and you come back to a finished video.
- If something breaks halfway you are told in red and every Token charged comes back to your balance, without asking.
When it is done the video plays right there, with two buttons below it: "Download" and "Share". Download it. Then get three jobs out of that one video:
- Post it as a reel on your Facebook page. Put the price and the contact line in the caption, not inside the video.
- Boost it with a small amount, around your own area and a fitting age range. The reel format costs less.
- Put it on your own site. Tell the builder to place the video at the top of the first page, and put it on your WhatsApp status too.
One thing said honestly: Bangla writing does not get drawn inside the video. The model that draws video cannot draw Bengali letters. Bangla captions are coming, and until then add the text in a phone editing app such as CapCut, a two minute job.
What makes an ad really work in a Bangladeshi feed
- Name the problem in the first three seconds. In a feed nobody is shopping, but they stop when they hear their own problem.
- One product, one idea, per video. Show five shoes and none of them is remembered.
- It should be understood with the sound off. Many people watch the feed muted, so the shoe should be turned and handled, not only talked about.
- Do not hide your accent. An ad in your own voice is more believable, because it does not sound like an ad.
- One new one a week. People look away from a video they have already seen, and a second ad with only the hook changed is easy to make.
- Keep the price in the caption, not the video. Changing a caption is free when a price changes; making the video again is not.
The cost, and how many ads each pack buys
The script is free and the placement picture is free. Token is charged only for the video, and the amount is written as a single number right above the "Make the video" button. A 15 second ad is 85,000 Token on the Saver tier and 163,000 on Better.

| Pack | Token | Saver ads |
| Lite ৳199 | 39,800 | not enough for an ad, enough for one reel without music |
| Starter ৳499 | 100,000 | 1 |
| Builder ৳999 | 300,000 | 3 |
Two more things to remember:
- Making video needs an account that has bought Token; the free up to 400,000 Token a day runs chat, the builder and images, but not Reel Studio video.
- Speaking in your own voice drops the AI voice cost, so the price falls further, and how far it fell is visible in that same number.
Make your first one on the Saver tier. If you like the result, make the second on "Better" and put them side by side, and only then will you know whether the extra spend is worth it for your product.
What cannot be made
- Anyone else's face without their written permission. Not a friend's photo, not a customer's photo, not a photo pulled off the internet.
- The face of a well known person: an actor, a player, a politician or a religious figure.
- Political ads, or campaigning for any party.
- Religious hate, or belittling any group of people.
- Claims of curing illness ("this oil cures arthritis") or of doubling money.
If you give your own selfie you must tick "the person in the photo is me". That is part of the Terms too, and if a complaint comes in we take the video down.
