What the words mean

What do the English terms in the BanglaCodes guides mean?

Every term the guides use, Token, Model, Publish, DNS, CNAME, PWA and the rest, is explained in one place in plain language. Type a term into the search box and its meaning appears. Nothing here needs memorising.

Look here when a word stops you

Every English term the guides use is explained below in plain language. There is nothing to memorise. Look one up whenever you need it.

The guides page

Type the term into the search box and it appears straight away.

If you are new, start with these three: Token (what cost is measured in), Model (the brain the AI thinks with) and Publish (putting your app on the internet). Pick up the rest as you need them.

Beginner questions

Why so many English words, could they not all be Bangla?

Words like Token and Publish have no living Bangla, and forced coinages sound harder. So the words stay and their meanings are explained in easy Bangla.

What if a word is missing from this list?

Ask in chat and it gets explained simply. Tell support and it joins the list too.

Do I have to memorize these?

Not at all. Look them up when needed; use teaches them by itself.

Every term

Variable
A named container that holds a value, like a labelled box you keep things in. let name = "নাসির"
Function
A name for a group of steps. Write it once, call it as often as you like, like a recipe. function add(a, b) { return a + b }
Loop
A way to repeat the same work. To write to 100 people you write it once inside a loop, not 100 times. for (let i = 0; i < 100; i++)
Array
An ordered list holding many values at once, much like a shopping list. ["চাল", "ডাল", "তেল"]
Object
A structure holding information as name and value pairs: a name, an age and an address together. { name: "নাসির", age: 25 }
String
A value that is text, whatever sits inside the quotation marks. "আসসালামু আলাইকুম"
Boolean
Only two possible values: true or false. Like a switch that is on or off.
API
The rules two pieces of software use to talk. Like a waiter: you order, and they fetch it from the kitchen.
API Key
A secret key that proves who you are when using an API. Never share it with anyone.
Token
AI reads language in small pieces, and each piece is one Token. Cost is measured in Token too.
Prompt
Your instruction or question to the AI. The clearer the Prompt, the better the answer.
Model
The brain the AI thinks with. GPT-5.5, Gemini and Claude are each a Model. Some are fast, some think more deeply.
Bug
A mistake in the code that makes a program misbehave or stop. Finding and fixing it is called debugging.
Framework
A ready-made structure you build an app on top of, like React or Django. Rather like a prefabricated frame for a house.
Database
An organised store for information, like an enormous ledger you can search instantly.
Server
A computer that stays on and answers requests from other people. Your website lives on one.
Frontend
What a person sees and touches: buttons, colours, layout. The shop floor.
Backend
The works behind the curtain: data, calculations, security. The stockroom and the accounts office.
Git
A machine that remembers the history of your code: who changed what and when, and it can put things back.
Variable naming
A name should tell you what is inside. userAge is good, x is not.
Context window
The limit on how much text an AI can hold in mind at once, measured in Token.
Open source
Software whose code is open to everyone, to read, learn from and change.
Streaming
The answer arriving word by word instead of all at once, so it looks like typing.
Domain
Your own address on the internet, such as aiinbangla.com. You buy one and pay yearly to keep it.
DNS
The phone book of the internet. It turns a domain name into the server the browser should go to.
CNAME
A line in DNS saying "what lives at this address is really kept over there". It is what you add to connect your own domain. www CNAME sites.banglacodes.com
PWA
A website that installs onto a phone home screen like an app, opens with its own icon and works offline too.
.apk
The file that installs an app straight onto an Android phone. It can be sent on WhatsApp or Messenger, and tapping it on the phone installs the app; if the phone asks for permission, allow it. BanglaCodes makes one from any live site, and the first one is free.
.aab
Android App Bundle. The file Google Play Console asks for when you put an app on the Play Store. It does not install on a phone by itself; the .apk is for that. Making the Android app from a live site gives you both.
Play Store (Google Play Console)
The app store on Android phones. Putting an app there takes your own Google Play developer account: Google charges a one-time registration fee and reviews the app before releasing it. Google Play Console is where you upload it.
ফ্রি Model
An AI that costs us nothing to run, so it costs you no Token either. It is plenty for everyday work.
Premium Model
An AI that costs real money to run, such as Claude or GPT-5.5. These spend Token.
Pro
Buying any Token pack makes the account Pro: as many live sites as you like with no badge, Premium Models unlocked (the biggest need a large balance for one build), and apps kept forever.
Custom Provider
Pointing the app at an AI service of your own, with your address and Key. The cost then goes to your own account.
Promo code
A discount code. Entered at checkout it either lowers the price or adds extra Token.
ভার্সন
The state your app was in before the AI changed something. The last 20 are kept and you can return to any of them.
শেয়ার লিংক
The live address of your app. Anyone you send it to can open it without an account.
Screenshot
A picture of your phone or computer screen. Paste one into the Builder and the AI can see the design you mean.
Hosting
Keeping your site switched on and reachable on the internet. Like renting the shop space, except here you pay once. The domain is the address; hosting is keeping the shop open at that address.
Publish
Making your finished site live for everyone. Until you press it, only you see the preview; afterwards anyone with the link can open it.
প্রিভিউ (Preview)
The live picture of your site beside the builder as you work. Only you can see it; nobody else can find it yet.
সাইট ইনবক্স (Site inbox)
Where orders and messages from your site's forms collect. On a free site a filled form goes nowhere; on Business hosting it lands here and emails you.
SSL
The padlock and https in front of your address. It stops anyone reading your customer's details in transit. We set it up for you at no extra cost.
Slug (ঠিকানার নাম)
The first part of your site's address, the part you choose. In rahim-sweets.banglacodes.app the slug is rahim-sweets. Lower-case letters, numbers and hyphens; no spaces. rahim-sweets.banglacodes.app
TXT record
A line in DNS that just holds text. When you add your own domain we give you a code to put there, which proves the domain is really yours. An apex domain (without www) cannot take a CNAME, so this is the way there. _banglacodes.aiinbangla.com TXT a7f3k2
Pixel
A number Facebook gives you, digits only. Put it on the site and Facebook can count who came from your ad and who ordered. You find it in Facebook Events Manager.
Measurement ID
The number Google Analytics gives you, starting with G-. Put it on the site and Analytics collects who visited and which pages they saw. Find it under Admin, then Data streams. G-ABC1234XYZ
TrxID
The number in the SMS or receipt bKash or Nagad sends after you transfer money. Giving it to us is how we find your payment and match it to your order.
Mode (ধরন)
In the reel studio, which kind of video to make: a person holding your product and talking, or footage alone. The same word in chat means whether answers come out beginner-style or Pro-style.
UGC
Short for User Generated Content. In advertising it means an ordinary person talking about your product on their own phone, rather than a polished commercial. People watch these because they do not feel like ads.
GitHub
A popular place to store code. You never need it here; it is only there if you want your own copy of your work kept somewhere else.
