Getting Things Back
What do I do if I delete an app by mistake or the site breaks?
A deleted app is kept for 30 days and one press in the "deleted apps" part at the bottom of the Builder page brings it back, files, its newest 5 versions and the inbox included. If the site shows a blank page, publish again, and if the files themselves went wrong, go back to an earlier version, which takes the live site back with it.
Midnight, you open your shop's site and get a blank page. Or you deleted the wrong card from the list. Or you asked the AI for one change and it changed something that was fine. None of the three is a disaster, and all three have different answers. Which answer goes with which is what this guide is for.
If you deleted an app by mistake
Deleting does not mean gone forever. The app leaves your list and its live link stops working, but it is kept inside for 30 days.

- Right at the bottom of the Builder page there is a part called "deleted apps". Each one shows the date it goes for good, with a restore button beside it.
- One press brings all of it back: the files, the newest 5 versions, the dashboard pages, the orders and messages sitting in the inbox, the chat conversations.
- If someone else took that name in the meantime the restored app gets a slightly different link, and if you had a custom domain you add it and verify it again. You are told on screen as it comes back.
If the site breaks or shows a blank page
When a live site breaks there are two different things to try, and which one you want depends on whether the files themselves are still good.
- The files are fine and only the live page is wrong: publish again from the Builder. The live site is rebuilt from what is already there.
- The files themselves went wrong: go back to an earlier version, and the live site goes back with it, with no separate publish needed.
Which older version to go back to
The previous state is kept before every save, and the last 20 are held that way. The "versions" list in the Builder is ordered by time, so pick the one where the site was still right.
Pick the nearest good version, not the very first one. Go too far back and the good work done after that point goes with it.
The versions ahead of the one you picked stay in the list, so if you chose wrong you can move forward again.
What cannot be brought back
This part has to be honest, or you will trust something that is not there.
- On a free account an app moves itself to "deleted apps" 60 days after the last edit. That one can be brought back, for a year, but not once that year has passed. An email goes out as the day gets close, and editing the app once starts the count again. A published site is outside this count: once it is live it is never swept.
- Once the 30 days after a deletion have passed, there is nothing left to restore.
- A share link that has reached somebody cannot be pulled back. Do not put anything private behind a share link.
What copies we keep ourselves
You do not have to do anything for these, they happen on their own. Knowing about them is just so you can stop worrying.
- A backup of the whole database is taken every 6 hours.
- Once a day a copy of it goes to a completely separate company's servers, and the newest 10 days are held there. So even if one company closes an account, a copy is still standing.
- A copy of the images and the published site files goes there too, because those do not live in the database.
- Nobody can browse these copies, they sit encrypted, and they are used only for bringing a site back.
Questions
I want a copy in my own hands.
Download a ZIP from the Builder, or push to GitHub. If you have Business hosting, the backup part of the site dashboard gives you the pages, the settings and the orders received in one file.
Can support bring it back if I ask them?
Yes. Rolling back to an earlier build, publishing again and restoring a deleted site are all things support can do. Doing it yourself is instant though, so try that first.
If I go back to an older version, do the inbox orders go back too?
No. Versions only deal with the site's files. Orders and messages in the inbox live somewhere else and are not touched.
