Study routine and habit tracker

How do I build a study routine or class schedule app?

In the Builder, write out in Bangla what happens on which day at which time, and ask for a tick box beside every item. The routine is ready in about a minute and can sit on your phone home screen. Do note that the ticks stay in the browser you tick them in, so they do not travel to another phone or another person.

What you are building

A routine app. The seven days of the week laid out, the tasks under each day with their times, and a tick box beside every one. You finish a task, you tick it, and by the end of the day you can see that five out of seven are done.

The weekly class routine

The same thing serves three purposes. A study routine if you are a student, a class schedule if you are a teacher, and a habit chart for anyone at all, prayers, drinking water, walking, or thirty minutes of reading. You do not need to know how to code.

Step by step

  1. Work the routine out on paper. Which day, which time, which task. Settle that first and building the app takes barely two minutes.
  1. Name it in the Builder and start. Go to the Builder tab, type a name such as My Study Routine, then press to start building.
  1. Write the whole routine out. Put it all in the prompt box day by day, and say how you want it to look. A sample is given below.
  1. Make today stand out. Say that when the app opens, today should be at the top and coloured differently. A small thing, but a real comfort in daily use.
  1. Test it by ticking. Tick a few things in the preview, then open the page again. Check that the ticks are still there.
  1. Put it on your phone. The share button gives you a link. After you Publish, open that link on your phone and place it on the home screen, and it opens like a proper app and runs without internet.

Two sample prompts:

Build me a study routine app. A seven day chart from Saturday to Friday. Each day lists tasks by time from 7 in the morning to 10 at night, with a tick box beside each one. When the app opens, today should be at the top and coloured. Below, show how many tasks I finished today. All text in Bangla, and it should look good on a phone.
Now add a habit chart. Five habits, prayers, drinking water, walking, reading and sleeping early. Show a grid of the last thirty days, and colour a box green on the days it was done. Beside it show how many days in a row the streak has run.

What to do next

Once the routine is standing, tie it to your actual studies. For the subjects you have set time aside for, build notes and flashcards, which the study notes guide covers fully. And if you want to test yourself at the end of the week, follow the quiz app guide and build a small exam.

Beginner questions

I write routines on paper, why an app?

Paper gets lost; the app lives on the phone and highlights today by itself. Schedule changes need no reprint, just a sentence.

Can the whole class share one routine?

Yes, drop the link in the class group and everyone sees the same one, updates included.

Will it alert me before class?

Opening the app shows the next class prominently. Self-firing notifications depend on phone permissions and vary by device.
