Can I keep my shop accounts and credit book on my phone, free?

Yes. Say in Bangla what you want to track: sales, expense categories, who owes you how much. The AI builds an accounts app shaped to your shop: type a figure and it adds up, with the day's and month's totals and your profit. Building and publishing are free. Just know that the records stay on the phone you write them on.

Three steps to your accounts book app

  1. Name your categories and credit: Five or six categories are enough: sales, stock, rent, bills, wages, other. If you sell on credit, ask for a separate credit list too.
  2. Put it live, add it to your phone: The AI builds the book in a few minutes. Press "Go live, free", open the live address on your phone and add it to the home screen. The builder preview keeps nothing; the live address does.
  3. Write daily, back up weekly: Enter the day's figures after closing. Once a week, download the backup file and email it to yourself.

Why a paper accounts book never adds up at month end

Sit down to total the book at month end and there are crossed-out pages, a day with no expenses written at all, and credit you have to remember from memory. And there is only one book: leave it at the shop and you cannot check it from home, and if it gets wet or lost, nothing is left.

The easy way to keep a shop's accounts is a book on your phone: you never do the sums. Type a figure and today's sales, expenses and cash in hand appear, with the month's totals beside them. Where your accounts are kept, and what to know before changing phones

What you write is kept in the browser of the phone or computer you write it on. Open the same link on another phone and the book is empty; clear the browser data, open it in a private window or lose the phone, and the records go too.

So before you change phones, download the backup file on the old phone, then open the app on the new one and restore from that file. If the app has no restore button, tell the builder "add buttons to download and restore a backup".

One set of accounts on two phones: cloud data on the Business plan

If two people keep the books, or you fear losing the phone, turn on cloud data. The accounts are then kept on our servers, and anyone you give the passcode to sees and writes the same book from their own phone. It comes with the Business (14,499 BDT) and Commerce plans; free sites and lifetime hosting do not have it.

To turn it on, set a passcode on the site manager's "Cloud data" tab and press "Turn it on", tell the builder "keep the accounts in the cloud so other phones can see them", then put the site live again. Whatever was already written on a phone goes up with its first save. When someone leaves, change the passcode and the book closes on their phone at once. The cloud data guide has the details.

What an accounts book app costs

If one person writes on one phone, nothing. Building the app and keeping it live at your-name.banglacodes.app are free, from up to 400,000 free AI Token a day. Writing the daily figures needs no AI, so it takes no Token.

Costs come in only two places: cloud data on the Business plan if you want the same accounts on several phones, and, to turn the book into a real Android app, 10,000 Token for each build after the first, which is free. Every plan and pack is on the pricing page.

Savings group accounts and a monthly household book

There is a ready-made layout for a savings group or club: the member list, the monthly dues, a tick table of who paid in which month, and an expense list. The total collected, total spent and the fund in hand show in large type, and at month end the whole statement goes out as a picture (PNG) or PDF to the members' WhatsApp group. A monthly household book works the same way: make categories for groceries, rent, bills and school fees, and ask for a month picker. Compare with last month and you see where the money goes.

Is shop accounting software free here?

There is no software to buy. Building your own accounts app and keeping it live at a banglacodes.app address are free; you only pay if you want the same accounts on several phones, through cloud data on the Business plan.

Will I keep my accounts if I change phones?

Not by themselves, because the records sit in the old phone's browser. Before you switch, download the backup file on the old phone and restore it on the new one. With cloud data on, entering the passcode on the new phone brings everything down.

How do I keep a credit (baki) book?

When you build, ask for a separate credit list: the customer's name, how much they owe, since when, and when they last paid. Enter a payment and the balance drops; ask for the biggest debts to show at the top.

I tested it in the builder. Why does nothing stay saved?

For safety, the builder preview and the share link keep nothing. Put the book live and open it at your-name.banglacodes.app, where entries stay saved. Going live is free.

Can I write in the book without the internet?

Yes, if you ask when building: "make it installable on the home screen and open without the internet". Then, once the live address has been opened, you can keep writing offline, because the records are stored on the phone.

Can anyone else see my accounts?

No. Without cloud data, the records exist only on your phone. With cloud data on, only whoever has the passcode can see them; our support team cannot see the records inside either.
