Account, Security and Language
How do I sign up for BanglaCodes and how safe is my data?
You can sign in with Google in one click, which skips email confirmation entirely. If you sign up with a password instead, you have to activate the account through the button in the email before you can use the AI. Passwords are hashed, API Keys are encrypted, and your data is never sold to anyone.
One click sign in with Google
If there is a "Sign in with Google" button on the login or account creation page, that is the easiest way: no password to remember, and no email verification step either (Google has already confirmed it). If you had earlier opened a password account with the same email, do not worry, signing in with Google takes you into that same account, nothing new gets created. If that password account was never email-verified, the old password is cancelled at that moment and any open sessions are signed out, for security. To use a password again, set a fresh one with "Forgot your password?".

Confirming your email
After you create an account, an email goes out. Press the button inside it and your account is active. Until you confirm it you cannot run the AI, because this keeps fake accounts out and saves free Token for everyone.
If the mail does not arrive: check your spam or promotions folder. If it is still not there, press "Send the mail again" (up to 3 times in 10 minutes, and 10 times an hour from one internet connection).
If you forget your password
On the login page press the "Forgot your password?" link and give your email. A link will be sent that works for 1 hour. Set a new password and you are done.
For security, changing your password cancels all your old sessions, which means if you were logged in somewhere else, you get signed out there too.
Changing the language
The language menu at the top of the home page has 11 languages, Bengali and English among them; the switch in Settings has Bengali and English. Whichever you pick is saved to your account, so it opens the same way when you sign in on another phone.
- The chat and the builder answer in the language you write in, whatever the menu is set to.
- Emails follow the account's language: in Bengali when Bengali is picked, in English for any other language.
The technical words (Token, API Key, Model, Publish) stay in English in every language, because that is how everyone knows them.
What we do with your information
- Passwords are never kept in plain sight, they are hashed with scrypt.
- API Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- Your app's code is yours, we make no claim on it.
- There are no third party ads, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
The details are in the privacy policy.
Profile picture
Go to Settings and you can add your own picture, and it will show up everywhere your name appears on the site. If you sign in with Google, your Google picture is set automatically, and you can change it if you want. The picture is cropped down inside your browser before it is uploaded, so a big picture is no problem and it loads fast.
Colors and fonts your way
The site has two pages called Colors (/themes) and Fonts (/fonts). The colors page has six ready made themes (Royal, Warm Cream, Forest, Paper and Ink, Midnight, Sky), and the fonts page has Bengali fonts: SolaimanLipi, Kalpurush and a few more.
Whichever you press changes the whole site right away, and your choice is remembered in your browser. Pick whatever is easy on your eyes.
Seeing what you have spent
The Token page (/app/usage) has a graph of daily spending: how much Token went on which day, how many requests there were, how much each Model cost. Hover the mouse over the graph to see that day's numbers.
The Learn page
The Learn page (/app/learn) has ready made prompt templates and a glossary: the simple Bengali meaning of words like Variable, Function, API, Database, with examples. If a term has you stuck, look for it here.
What is new
Everything new on the site and everything that got fixed is written up by date on the What's New page (/changelog). There is a link in the footer too.
Beginner questions
I forgot my password, is everything gone?
Nothing is gone. Press "forgot password" on the login page, a link arrives by email, set a new one and everything is as it was.
The verification mail is not arriving.
Check the spam folder, that is where it usually hides. Still nothing? Press "send the mail again".
Can one account run on two devices?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on phone and computer, your apps and chats are all in one place.
