Wedding and mezban cards with an invitation page

How do I make a wedding invitation card and send it on WhatsApp?

In the Builder, write the names, the date, the time and the address in Bangla, and ask for an invitation card that downloads as a picture. You get a PNG card you can send straight on WhatsApp, plus an invitation page carrying a map link and a button for replying over WhatsApp.

What you are building

Two things, together.

The digital wedding card

First, a card that downloads to your phone as a picture. You can send that picture on WhatsApp, imo or Messenger to anyone you like. Bangla sits properly on the card and the joined letters do not break.

Second, an invitation page with a link of its own. That page carries the date, the time, the address, a link that opens the place on a map, and an I am coming button that sends a message to your WhatsApp when someone taps it.

Wedding, gaye holud, mezban, aqiqah, birthday, a dua mahfil, it is the same recipe for all of them.

Step by step

Step 1: Go to the Builder tab, give it a name such as "Rifat and Nusrat's wedding", then press to start building. Or start from the "Wedding invitation" card among the templates on the apps page: give the couple's names, which events, the dates, times and venues in the box, and the gaye holud, the wedding and the bou-bhat each get their own card, with a map link and an RSVP form.

Step 2: Write out every detail of the event in one go:

Build a card and an invitation page for our wedding. The groom is Rifat Hossain and the bride is Nusrat Jahan. Date 12 December 2026, Friday, from 1pm to 5pm. Place: Nilachal Community Centre, Mirpur 10, Dhaka. Write Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim in Bangla at the top. The card should be red and gold with a floral border, and set the Bangla text beautifully. Put a button under the card that downloads the card as a picture.

Step 3: Press Send. You will see the card take shape on the right.

Step 4: Press the download button to save the card to your phone, then send it from your gallery on WhatsApp. If it looks small, say "download the card picture larger and sharper".

Step 5: Now add the invitation page part. Ask for it like this:

Add an invitation page under the card. Put the date and time in large text, the address below, and a button that opens the place in Google Maps. Add a green button saying let us know you are coming, which opens a WhatsApp chat to my number 88017xxxxxxxx with the message already written in, saying I am coming to the wedding and here is how many of us are coming.

Step 6: Press Share. Send the link along with the card picture. Whoever gets it sees the picture, taps the link for the map, and tells you in one tap whether they are coming.

Be clear about how replies reach you

If you put a pretty form on the invitation page, a name typed into it will never reach you, because a built page cannot send an email or a message on its own (With lifetime hosting, though, forms really work with no domain needed: submissions land in the site dashboard inbox with email alerts; see banglacodes.com/docs/hosting-kon-ta). So take replies over WhatsApp or a phone call, the way the button above does it. There is an upside too: every reply is collected in one place in your WhatsApp, with the person's name and picture.

What to do next

The day before the event, send a reminder with the same link. Afterwards, if you like, come back to the Builder and say "turn this page into a photo album", and the same link can hold the pictures from the day. And if you want the page at an address in your own name, press "Go live, free": a free account keeps three sites live, at an address like apnar-site.banglacodes.app.

Beginner questions

Will a digital card seem disrespectful next to a printed one?

Digital cards are the norm now, and a printed one could never reach guests abroad anyway. Do both if you like: this on WhatsApp, print for the elders.

If the date moves, a new card?

No, change the date and everyone sees the new one at the same link. That is the advantage over print.

Separate cards for holud, wedding and reception?

One card can hold all three schedules, or make three pages. Your call.
