Working With Images

How do I add or create images for my site on BanglaCodes?

There are three ways to use images: paste a screenshot to show the design you want, use the create tab to generate a new image from a Bengali description, or pick a free stock photo from Pexels in the search tab. Generating images with AI is completely free and costs no Token. Images live on our own servers, so the links never break.

There are three ways to use images

1. Showing an image to explain (screenshot): if you like a design, copy a screenshot of it and paste it into the prompt box. You can also pick one from your phone or computer by pressing the image icon. The AI looks at the picture and builds in that style.

Images are asked for from the same chat box

Where it helps: a layout that is hard to describe in words, when you like the way some site looks, or sending a picture of the broken part of your own site and saying "fix this".

2. Making new images with AI: need an image for your site? Go to the "Generate" tab in the image panel and write what you want in Bengali, something like "sunrise over a green paddy field". The image arrives in a few seconds and gets attached to your prompt.

This is completely free, no Token needed. Writing in Bengali is fine, it is translated behind the scenes.

3. Finding ready made images (Pexels): in the "Search" tab of the image panel, search in English (office, nature, food) and pick from millions of free stock photos. Press an image and it gets attached to your prompt.

And when a site is built, no image slot is left empty even if you do none of this: the AI puts a real photo from Pexels, picked for what that slot shows, into every image slot of the page, and the footer names the photographers. If you have real photos of your own shop or products, swap them in later on the site manager's "Text and images" tab; customers trust those more.

Which one, when?

Editing your own photo: remove the background or a new scene

Took a photo of a product with a messy room behind it? Add it in the chat with the picture button by the message box, and two buttons appear beside the box:

The edited photo arrives in the chat, and you download it from there. Both are free and cost no Token, though they count within the daily limit for making pictures. The account has to be verified.

Where the images are stored

Images you generate, and photos you upload yourself, are kept on our servers, so those links never break and they travel with your site when you Publish. Pexels photos from the "Search" tab are different: they are served from Pexels' own servers and are not copied into your site. For an image that matters, download it from Pexels and upload it yourself.

One thing to keep in mind

AI made images are not always perfect, they can get text or hands and feet muddled up in particular. If you don't like one, generate it again, each try comes out different.

A few limits worth knowing: images the AI creates default to square (1024 by 1024), but ask for a size (like "thumbnail" or 1280 by 720) and it makes that size; you can create up to 20 a day, and you can upload up to 60 of your own a day. There is also a shared daily total for everyone; on a very busy day it can run out until midnight, and the message says so when it does. Uploads are converted to JPEG and large ones are scaled down automatically, so if a screenshot has very fine text, crop in close before sending it.

Bengali text cannot be placed inside a generated image. The AI that draws pictures cannot draw Bengali letters and they come out as broken shapes. So for a poster or banner with Bengali on it, do not ask for an image. Ask for a poster page instead, and it will be written in a real font, perfectly, and you can download it as a PNG.

One thing about image addresses: each image has its own long address that cannot be guessed. Anyone holding that address can view the image without logging in. That has to be so, otherwise your images would not appear on your live site. Nobody can find one by guessing, but do bear in mind that if you send the address to someone, they can open it.

Beginner questions

Can photos from my phone go straight into the app?

Yes. Drag a photo into the chat or pick it with the own-photos button, and the AI places it where it belongs. Up to 6 at a time: it looks at the first two and places the rest by name.

Does making images cost money?

No, images are free: 20 a day, and on a crowded day the per-person cap drops, never below 3. For a sharper picture turn on "HD" beside the image button; each costs 2,500 Token and does not count against the daily cap.

Can I clear the background of a product photo?

Yes. Add the photo in the chat and press "Remove the background": the item stays exactly as it is and only the background goes. It is free and costs no Token.

Can others see the photos I upload?

The address of each photo is far too long to guess. If you place it in an app, the people you share the app with see it, nobody else finds it.
