Making a CV on your phone, in three steps

  1. Give your details: Your name, studies, where you worked and what you did, your skills and the job the CV is for. If you have an old CV, give the chat its PDF or a photo of it; the AI reads it from there.
  2. Look over the CV: A one-page CV appears right in the chat. Anything you did not give stays as a blank in [ ] brackets, and at the end the AI asks one or two questions; answer them and the blanks fill in.

The CV shows up in the chat as an A4 page with its own PDF button. Press it and your phone's print screen opens; choose Save as PDF and the file is kept on your phone, with every Bengali conjunct intact. If the CV comes as plain text instead of a page, press "PDF / Print" under the answer.

Open the file and read it once before you send it, and name it after yourself, like Tanjila-Akter-CV.pdf; among ten files called cv.pdf, yours will not get lost.

A CV website that opens from a link

You can also make a CV website of your own: pick the CV card in the builder, give your details, and you get a one-page CV site with a Print / PDF button. English CVs, cover letters and jobs abroad

A CV goes in the language of the job advert; to get an English CV from details you gave in Bangla, write "make it in English". For a cover letter, the empty chat has a "Job applications & email" card. How much does it cost to make a CV?

Can I make a CV on my phone, or do I need a CV maker app?

How many pages should a CV be?

One page is best for a beginner, and the CV here is laid out on one page. In the Bangladeshi format for government or bank jobs, two pages is normal. If it runs long, say "fit it on one page" and the text gets a little smaller where needed.

Should I put a photo on my CV?

The Bangladeshi format usually has a passport-size photo at the top right; the ATS format leaves it out. For a CV with your photo on it, make the CV website in the builder and upload your own picture there.
