Can I make my restaurant's menu card myself, in Bangla, with a QR code?
Yes. Write your restaurant's name and the dishes with their prices in Bangla, and in a few minutes the AI builds a menu page in sections, with pictures and text large enough to read on a phone. Once it is live, download the QR code from the site manager and put it on the tables. Change a price on the page and the QR stays the same, with nothing to reprint.
Three steps to a QR menu card
- Write the dishes with prices: Group them: breakfast, rice and curry, kebabs, drinks. Give each one's name and price; with no price given, the AI does not invent one.
- Check it, then put it live: The menu is on the screen in a few minutes. Read it at phone size, ask for bigger text if it looks small, then press "Go live, free".
- Download the QR and put it on the tables: In the site manager, the QR button next to the live link downloads the card. Have it printed at a print shop, one for each table.
A printed menu card never stops costing money
The price of tea goes up a little, and the whole menu card is out of date. There is no room for a new dish, oil and water ruin the cards on the tables, and a few months later you print again. In between, the waiter keeps saying, "that one costs more now".
A QR menu has none of that. The menu is a page, and the QR code on the table holds only that page's address. So you change prices on the page, and the card on the table stays exactly as it is.
What your menu card will have
- The restaurant's name, logo and opening hours at the top
- Dishes grouped into sections, each with its name and the price you gave
- A separate "today's special" at the very top, when you give one
- A search box to find a dish, which helps a lot on a long menu
- Pictures of a few popular dishes, and small marks for spicy or vegetarian if you want them
- The address, phone and a WhatsApp button for takeaway orders at the bottom
The menu's QR code: where to get it, how to print it
Once the menu is live, open the site manager. Next to the live site link at the top is the QR code button; press it, then "Download the QR". What you get is not a bare square but a whole printable card: the restaurant's name at the top, "Point your camera to open the site" beneath it, the code in the middle and the menu's address at the bottom. Even if the code fades, a customer can type the address.
When printing, keep the code at least three fingers wide, print on stiff card and cover it in plastic; water will get spilt on the table. Scan it once with your own phone before printing. BanglaCodes does not print anything itself; have the card made at the print shop next door.
Change menu prices yourself, without the AI
When a price goes up or a new dish arrives, change the words and prices in the site manager and save; saving puts them on the live menu. No AI or Token needed, and the QR on the tables stays the same. You can change the line for today's special this way every morning.
Colours, fonts and the logo, and the restaurant's phone, WhatsApp and address, all change from the same place. The site manager guide shows where each button is.
If you need a printed menu card too
Many customers, older ones especially, like a paper menu in their hands, and for the first few months a paper copy is worth keeping. Tell the builder: "make an A4 print version of the menu with a print button, so that printing gives just the menu on a white page, with this site's QR code in the corner." Then save it as a PDF from the print button.
Before you take the PDF to the print shop, open it yourself: are all the prices right, are the Bangla conjuncts whole, does it fit on one page? With the QR in the corner of the paper, customers can check new prices on their phones after a change.
What a menu card costs

Making a menu card that looks good and works
- Ask for large text; older customers read it on their phones too, and restaurants are dim
- Add pictures for the five to seven dishes you most want to sell, not every one; shoot them yourself by a window, in daylight
- Ask for the English name in small type under the Bangla one; it helps visitors from elsewhere
- Opening the menu needs the internet, so write the Wi-Fi name and password beside the QR card on the table, not on the menu page, which anyone can open
- If branches have different prices, make a separate menu and a separate QR for each
Questions about menu cards
How much does it cost to design a restaurant menu card?
Making the menu, putting it live and downloading the QR code are free, from the daily free AI Token. The only cost is printing the table cards, which is the print shop's. Running it on your own domain needs one-time lifetime hosting.
Do I have to print a new QR code when prices change?
No. The QR code does not hold the menu, only the menu page's address. Change the price in the site manager and save, and everyone sees the new price; the card on the table stays the same.
How do I make a QR code?
You do not make one separately. Once the menu is live, press the QR button next to the live link in the site manager, then "Download the QR". A printable card with the restaurant's name and address downloads.
Can the menu take orders?
A menu page cannot take payments. For takeaway orders, put a WhatsApp button at the bottom; a tap opens a message to your number. To collect form orders in a site inbox, take lifetime hosting on your own domain.
Can the menu be in both Bangla and English?
Yes. Write in the box that you want the English name under each Bangla one. It helps foreign customers and visitors from other districts.
Do customers need a separate app on their phones?
No. Nearly every phone camera reads QR codes by itself now. For older phones, the menu's address is printed under the QR on the card, so it can be typed in.
Can I get a print file for a paper menu card?
Ask the builder for an A4 print version of the menu with a print button. Save it as a PDF from the print button and take that to the print shop, but open it yourself first and check the prices and spelling.
Will my menu show up on Google?
A live menu is open to Google, even at the free address. Giving the restaurant's name, address and opening hours correctly improves the odds of being found, but Google decides where it shows.
