Run your own online quiz competition
Give your quiz competition questions and get a quiz app: entrants write a name, answer, see their score and send their name and score to you.
- Make an online quiz competition for our school for Victory Day. 20 questions on the Liberation War, 4 options each, 15 minutes. The questions are below.
- We want a weekly book quiz on our library's Facebook page. I will change the 10 questions every week, and at the end each entrant sends their name and score.
- An Islamic quiz competition for the mosque's teenagers in Ramadan: 15 easy questions from the Seerah and the Quran, in a green design.
Can a school, club or Facebook page run its own online quiz competition?
Yes. Write the questions, how many and the time allowed in Bangla, and the AI builds a quiz app. An entrant opens the link, writes a name, answers one question at a time, sees only their own score, and sends name and score to you with one button. On a free site it arrives as a WhatsApp message; the site inbox needs hosting.
Three steps to run an online quiz competition
- Settle the questions and check them: Give your own, or ask the chat for MCQs on a topic. Check every answer against a book or reliable source, because in a competition one wrong answer means a wrong winner.
- Build the quiz app: Give the builder the questions, the time and the colours. The questions sit inside the app, so everyone with the link gets the same set. Take the whole quiz once yourself.
- Share the link, gather results: Publish and post the link and the rules on Facebook or in a group. Entrants' names and scores arrive on WhatsApp or in the site inbox; pick the winners from there.
The hard work of a paper quiz competition
A quiz competition on paper means printing questions, booking a hall and marking a hundred scripts at the end. With a Google Form you sit with a spreadsheet matching answers, and entrants see nothing at the end.
Here an entrant takes the quiz on their own phone, gets the score at once and sends it to you in one press. Your job is to get the questions right and pick the winners at the end.
What the online quiz competition app will have
- A box for the entrant's name at the start
- One question at a time, four options
- Only the score at the end; it does not show which were wrong or the right answers, so they cannot be passed to the next person
- Name and score on a card, and a button to send them to the organiser
- With no questions given, 5 sample questions, and it asks for the real ones next
- A time limit if you ask, such as 15 minutes for the whole quiz
Where to get quiz competition questions
Writing the questions yourself is safest. Short of time, write in the chat "give 20 MCQs on the Liberation War, answer sheet separate" and the questions and answer sheet arrive; more on the question page. But the AI can get years, numbers and facts about Bangladesh wrong, so check every answer against a book or reliable source before it goes into the quiz.
Rules for good quiz questions: exactly one sure right answer, options that are close but wrong, and nothing that people argue about. Start easy and move to hard, so everyone plays to the end.
How the quiz competition results reach you
On a free site, when an entrant presses the last button a WhatsApp message with name and score is prepared, and when they send it, it reaches your number. For a small competition that is enough.
To collect every result in one place you need the site inbox, which a free site does not have. With lifetime hosting (6,999 BDT once) up to 25 a day are stored, and up to 100 a day on the Business plan; work it out before a big contest. The app does not build a winners list itself; you compile it from the inbox. Prices are on the pricing page.
The honest limits of an online quiz competition
- The answers are not shown on screen, but they travel with the app; a curious person could dig them out. Keep that in mind for a contest with a big prize
- One person can enter more than once under another name. State in the rules that only the first score sent counts
- There is no way here to give prizes, send money or earn money by playing quizzes; the organiser gives any prize
- On a tied score the app does not record who finished first; announce a tie-break rule beforehand
A quiz competition banner and certificates
For promotion, make a quiz competition banner: the date, the topic, how to take part and a QR code for the link. At the end, make certificates for winners and participants together from a list of names. For a playful quiz like a game, see the game page.
Questions about online quiz competitions
How do I organise an online quiz competition?
Settle the questions and check the answers, build the quiz app in the builder, announce the rules and the closing time, and share the link. Entrants send their name and score at the end; you check them and announce the winners.
Will the AI make the quiz competition questions?
Yes. Tell the chat the topic and how many questions, and the questions and answer sheet arrive. But check every answer against a book or reliable source before the contest; the AI can get years and numbers wrong.
How do entrants' scores reach me?
When an entrant presses the last button, they send their name and score. On a free site it comes as a WhatsApp message; with lifetime hosting or a plan it is stored in the site inbox, within the daily limit.
Can entrants see the right answers?
The screen never shows the right answers, only the score at the end. But the answers travel with the app, so someone with technical know-how could find them. For a contest with a big prize, it is not a sealed exam.
How much does an online quiz competition cost?
Building the quiz app and running it from a link are free, within up to 400,000 free AI Token a day. Collecting results in the site inbox instead of WhatsApp takes lifetime hosting, 6,999 BDT once.
Can you earn money by playing quizzes?
Not here. This is a tool for making and running quizzes, with no way to earn money by playing. Be careful before giving your details to any quiz app that promises money for playing.
Can I put new questions on the same link every week?
Yes. Give the builder the new questions and ask it to replace the old ones, then Publish again; the link stays the same.
