Orders, Messages and Email
How do orders or messages from my built site reach me?
Three free paths: a WhatsApp button (best in Bangladesh), a mailto link, and a free form service like Web3Forms. A static site cannot send email itself, so BanglaCodes never pretends it did. The fourth path is paid: on hosting on your own domain, form submissions land in your site dashboard inbox, with email alerts.
How news from your site reaches you
Say someone places an order on your shop site, or sees your portfolio and wants to send a work proposal. How does that news reach you?

First, the honest truth: a site built on BanglaCodes is a static site, meaning it has no server of its own. So the site cannot send email by itself. A tool that shows "order sent" while sending nothing anywhere is deception; BanglaCodes' AI is taught not to pretend. There are three honest paths, arranged easiest first.
There is also a fourth, paid path: with lifetime hosting the forms on your site really work (no domain of your own needed), submissions land in your site dashboard inbox and email tells you (25 submissions a day on lifetime domain hosting, more on Business and Commerce). What each level of hosting gives you is in the "Which Hosting You Need" guide. The three paths below all work on the free plan.
Path 1: a WhatsApp button (best in Bangladesh)
The buyer taps "Order now", their WhatsApp opens with the full order written out as a message, and they just press send. The message lands on your number, and a direct conversation with the buyer has already started. For shops, restaurant menus and bookings this is the most effective path there is.
Just tell the builder:
Add an "Order on WhatsApp" button to my shop site. My number is 8801712345678. The message should list every cart item and the total.
- Give the number with the country code (+88 for Bangladesh), as above.
- If the buyer's phone has no WhatsApp, the link opens WhatsApp Web in the browser, which works too.
- Your number will be public on the site, keep that in mind. Use a business number, not a personal one.

Path 2: an email (mailto) link
Tapping "Email us" opens the visitor's own mail app with the form's details placed in the subject and body; when they press send, the mail arrives at your address. The site is not sending it, the visitor is, and that difference matters.
- A visitor whose phone has no mail app set up will find the button does nothing. So never leave mailto alone; put a WhatsApp button beside it.
- Tell the builder: "Add a mailto button under the contact form, my email is rumana@aiinbangla.com".
Path 3: real form submission (Formspree or Web3Forms)
The visitor presses send and the submission goes straight to your email, without any app opening on their phone. This needs a free form service that sends the mail on your behalf. Two well-known ones:
| Service | Free limit | What you need |
| Web3Forms | 250 submissions a month | just your email for an access key |
| Formspree | 50 submissions a month | an account and a form address they give you |
- Go to the service's site and and, using your email, get the key or the address they give you (a two-minute job).
- Tell the builder: "Submit the contact form through Web3Forms, my access key is XXXX".
- The AI will send the form to that address, showing "delivered" on success and "did not go through, try again" on failure.
- The key sits publicly in the site's code; that is normal, these services are built that way. If someone abuses it, change the key from the service's dashboard.
- Submissions stop when the monthly limit runs out, so for a busy shop it is wise to keep WhatsApp as the main path.
An "admin panel" inside the app
Many people want an owner's section inside the site itself, listing every order or message. It can be built, with one limit understood: a static site's data lives inside the browser (in localStorage).
- Tell the builder: "Add a hidden admin view (opened with ?admin=1) listing all orders, the totals and a CSV download".
- The limit is this: orders stay in the browser where they were placed. A buyer's order on their phone will not travel to yours by itself. So keep an arrival path (WhatsApp or a form service) running separately; the admin panel is your own ledger.
- A PIN can be put on the admin section, but know this: a client-side PIN is only a curtain of politeness, anyone who reads the code can walk past it. Never keep real secrets in a static site.
Beginner questions
Can the site email me by itself?
A free site cannot, because storing a submission needs a server of ours. Three free paths bring the news to you: a WhatsApp button, a mailto link, or a form service like Web3Forms. All three are in this guide, step by step. On hosting on your own domain the site's own forms really do work: submissions land in your site dashboard inbox and an email tells you, and Business and Commerce raise the daily limits (see banglacodes.com/docs/hosting-kon-ta).
How do I know the moment a buyer places an order?
Take the WhatsApp path. Once the buyer taps the button and presses send, the message arrives on your number, phone notification included. With a form service the submissions arrive by email, where notifications depend on your mail app.
Is a PIN on the admin panel secure?
Not fully. The PIN lives inside the site's own code, so anyone who opens the code can get past it. As a curtain so a neighbour does not stumble in, a PIN is fine; but never keep money matters or real secrets behind one.
Where those form orders land and how to read them is shown with pictures in the Inbox part of Manage your site.
