How do I make a greeting poster or greeting banner on my phone?

Write three things in Bangla: who the greeting is for, the occasion, and who it is from. The poster or banner is set in a real Bengali font, with names and titles exactly as you spelt them. If you have a photo of the person, give it to the builder. Then download the PNG for Facebook, WhatsApp or the press.

Three steps to a greeting poster

  1. For whom, why, from whom: The person's name and title, the occasion in one line, and who it is from at the bottom. Type the name and title yourself; do not leave them to a guess.
  2. Settle the photo and colours: If there is a photo, give it to the builder and say where it goes. Then say: "make congratulations gold", "make the well-wishers' names smaller".
  3. Download and deliver it: Download the PNG, send it on WhatsApp to the person you are greeting, post it on Facebook with a tag, and take it to a press if you need a banner.

A wrong name ruins a greeting poster

Keep the "with best wishes from" part short on a banner

Check that everyone named agrees. Putting someone's photo or name on a banner without permission can cause trouble later.

A clear photo of the person makes a greeting personal. Use one taken in good light, facing forward; a small face cropped from a group photo turns blurry when enlarged. Give it to the builder, say where it goes, and check the placement before downloading.
