Can a school build its own website with the 11 items in the DSHE notice?
Yes. How to make an educational institution's website, in three steps
- Gather the details in one place: The introduction, permission and recognition, classes and sections, teacher and staff names, the committee, the routine and the office phone. Take them from the office files.

What the notice on school websites actually says
On 19 July 2025 the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) told government and non-government schools, colleges and school and colleges to update their websites with 11 items and to give the web address in the DSHE or EMIS IMS module. The order came again in May 2026 with a 4 June date, asking that officers' names, designations, working phone numbers and email be kept current.
Check the full notice with your upazila or district education office, since a new order can change the list. What is written here comes from newspaper reports.

School and madrasa website design: what gets laid out
The card behind the button is made for schools, madrasas and coaching centres alike. At the top, the name, a one-line introduction and an "admission info" button; then a notice board with the newest first and a date on each; classes and times, admission rules, teachers with subjects, the address, a map and the phone. The items above that fall outside this, such as MPO or the committee, become their own sections when you write them in.
What you do not give, the AI does not make up: no student counts, pass rates or MPO codes appear by themselves; they stay blank. For a madrasa, write superintendent or principal, dakhil or alim classes and your own terms, and the site follows them. Madrasa instructions come from the Directorate of Madrasah Education; the list above is DSHE's, so ask your own office which items are required.
A government institution should check the national portal first
The reports say that government institutions under the national portal (Jatiyo Tathya Batayan) must build their websites inside the national portal framework, to save public spending, instead of building separately. If your institution is one of them, ask your upazila or district education office before building here.
This page is for non-government schools, colleges and madrasas that want a site of their own. If the office names a particular address or domain, find that out first, then build.
Keeping a school website up to date
- To change a phone number, an email, the head teacher's name or any text, open the site manager, edit and save. No AI or Token needed
- Say a new notice in one line in the chat, like "add a notice: the school is closed on 16 December", then Publish again. Notices live in a list inside the code, so the manager's text fields do not reach them
- When a teacher transfers or a new committee forms, ask for that one section to change; the whole site is not rebuilt
- Never put students' personal phone numbers or addresses on the site; anyone can see what is on it
What this website will not do
BanglaCodes does not submit anything to EMIS or DSHE for you; the institution gives the address with its own login. Nor is this school management software: there is no fee collection, no SMS to parents and no portal for finding results by roll number. To turn marks into grades, make a separate result sheet, and for daily attendance a register.

Questions about school and madrasa websites
What must an educational institution's website contain?
The 2025 DSHE notice lists 11: introduction, teaching permission and recognition, students by class and gender, approved sections, the routine with teachers' names plus syllabus and notices, MPO, contact, information service desk, complaints officer, teachers and staff, and the managing committee. Ask your education office whether a newer order changed it.
How do I give the website address to EMIS?
With the institution's own EMIS or DSHE login, in the IMS module the notice names. BanglaCodes does not make this submission for you. After you publish, copy the full site address and enter it there; if it gives trouble, ask the upazila secondary education office.
Can I get a madrasa website designed here?
